Milwaukee Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression event honors families who have lost loved ones to police violence.

Milwaukee, WI – On the evening of October 22, about 60 people gathered for the Milwaukee Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression’s (MAARPR) to honor families who have lost loved ones to police violence. They also spoke out against deaths the jails and prisons, reckless police chases, ICE facilities, war and genocide, and more.

NYC event demands cops and National Guard off the subways.

Brooklyn, NY — Transit riders gathered at Jay Street – Metrotech station around a banner with an enlarged image of MTA Board Chair and CEO Janno Lieber. Organizers from the New York Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression (NYAARPR) invited passersby to step on the image and share negative experiences with the MTA and police in the transit system.

Orlando protest demands prosecution of killer cops.

Orlando, FL – Members of Orlando Against Police Crimes (OAPC) gathered outside the Orlando headquarters of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), October 21, to denounce the results of two investigations that found no officers accountable for the murder of Luis Lopez and Tyrone Bartley.

A protester stands with a sign demanding justice for Junious Coleman. Coleman's death was wrongfully ruled a suicide after he was shot outside New Orleans East Public Library in November 2022.

New Orleans, LA – On Wednesday October 22, dozens of people rallied in front of City Hall for a protest against police brutality. Directly affected families spoke out about corruption and neglect in the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD), demanding that the Public Integrity Bureau be held accountable for failing to hold officers accountable.

Protestors march back down Lafitte Greenway to close out Saturday's No Kings demonstration.

New Orleans, LA – On Saturday, October 18, more than 10,000 people rallied on the Lafitte Greenway’s Great Lawn to protest Trump’s agenda. Saturday’s protest was one of 2700 actions planned for No Kings day across the United States.

Colorado Springs Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression  press conference after the city government moved to block the group's access to a public meeting space.

Colorado Springs, CO – On October 11, the Colorado Springs Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression (COSAARPR) gathered at local Fire Station 8 to protest the cancellation of a booking of the community meeting space by the fire chief of Colorado Springs, in conjunction with the city attorney’s office.

Colorado protest demands prosecution of killer cops.

Westminster, CO – On Saturday, October 11, members of the Denver Aurora Community Action Committee (DACAC) gathered in the neighborhood of 17th Judicial District Attorney Brian Mason to speak against his recent decision to not prosecute the cops responsible for the death of Kory Dillard last year. The group also spoke about two separate cases that the district attorney’s office is overseeing.

Protester holds signs for police accountability outside New Orleans Police Department headquarters during a rally on October 6.

New Orleans, LA – On October 13, several organizations stood outside the federal building to hold a press conference against the termination of the federal consent decree over the New Orleans Police Department. The conference also condemned the impending threat of federal marshals and troops descending on the city.
