Milwaukee, WI – The four corners of 27th and West Oklahoma on Milwaukee’s South Side were filled with protesters on the afternoon of January 4. Activists were gathered to stand against the U.S.’s acts of war against Iran. It was a chilly afternoon, the wind biting into those assembled, but loud chanting intermingled with the frequent honks from motorists on the busy Milwaukee streets echoed into the area.

New York, NY – Over 1000 people gathered in New York City on January 4 in Times Square to demand no more U.S. troops to the Middle East, U.S. out of Iraq, and no war or sanctions on Iran. The action was called after a U.S. drone strike assassinated Iranian Quds Force general Qassem Soleimani in Baghdad, as well as the Pentagon stating they will send 3500 more troops to the Middle East.
Oshkosh, WI – Outraged and indignant citizens gathered on busy Main Street in downtown Oshkosh on the morning of January 4 to protest the U.S. military's most recent war crimes in Iraq. The decision to assassinate Iranian military leader Qassem Soleimani in Baghdad last week was a violation of international law and a war crime.

Tucson, AZ – On January 4, around 200 people flooded the sidewalk of a busy Tucson intersection to demonstrate their solidarity with the Iranian and Iraqi peoples and voice their anger at murderous billionaire President Trump.
Milwaukee, WI – In the early morning hours of September 14 ten drones carried out an intensive bombing of two of the world’s largest oil refineries, both located in Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Aramco facilities in Abqaiq and Khurais were decimated, crippling the productive capabilities of the oil manufacturers in the country. The Air Force of the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees have announced that these strikes are a part of what they’re calling the 2nd Operation of Balanced Deterrence.

Minneapolis, MN – “Workers of the world, unite! Minneapolis, MN – A well-known Iranian journalist, Marzieh Hashemi, has been jailed by the FBI. Hashemi is an anchor on Iran’s English language Press TV and has interviewed many progressive U.S. activists. According to credible reports, Hashemi was taken into custody at the Saint Louis, Missouri area’s Louis Lambert International Airport on January 13. The FBI has since moved her to a detention facility near Washington DC.

Minneapolis, MN – President Trump signed a U.S. sanctions bill against Russia, Iran and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) on August 1. In a hostile move, both the U.S. House and Senate voted by large majorities to target the oil and gas industries of Russia, the space and nuclear industries of Iran, and the international banking and financial institutions dealing with the DPRK.
According to a Feb. 4 report from Iran’s authoritative FARS News Agency, a commander in the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, had harsh words for the Trump administration.

The signs condemned the sanctions and upheld the deal as a blow against U.S. political and economic domination.
