Dallas, TX – After being hospitalized for more than 72 hours after a seizure, Leqaa Kordia was discharged and returned to ICE detention, February 9.
During the three days Kordia was hospitalized, neither family nor counsel laid eyes on her, heard her voice, or received any information about her current health status. Kordia’s legal team learned of her location from a journalist who got the information from the Department of Homeland Security.

Workers are fighting to win parking stipends for all employees, safer staffing ratios for teachers and healthcare workers with compensation, respect for the university’s own meet-and-confer policy, and a sanctuary campus from immigration enforcement.
Anaheim, CA – Ten family members and several Orange County residents demanded justice for Albert Arzola at Anaheim City Council meeting on January 26. Arzola was chased down and killed by two Anaheim police on December 6, 2025. His family demanded the immediate release of all body camera video, the autopsy report and an independent investigation into the police killing.

Santa Ana, CA – On Monday, January 26, over a dozen Santa Ana residents and activists spoke at the city council meeting to defend the Police Oversight Commission (POC). They demand that the city stop attacking the POC and preserve its ability to hold police accountable. Despite being established in 2022, the commission has not reviewed a single complaint due to delays in hiring staff and open attacks on the commission’s legal authority.
