Massive march in Minneapolis in conjunction with huge November 4 Palestine protest in Washington DC | Fight Back! News/staff

Minneapolis, MN – On November 4, while hundreds of thousands marched in Washington DC for the largest Palestine solidarity march in U.S. history, over 4000 marched in the streets of Minneapolis in support. They were greeted by honks of support, victory signs and Palestine flags waved from the balconies of public housing high-rises in the diverse Cedar-Riverside neighborhood. The marchers demanded an immediate end to Israel’s brutal siege and bombing campaign of Gaza, and an end to U.S. aid to Israel.

Arizona march in solidarity with Palestine. | Fight Back! News/staff

Tucson, AZ – Tucson answered the national call for a day of action Saturday, November 4 by the US Palestinian Community Network, Palestinian Youth Movement, and other organizations. A crowd met at Catalina Park just north of downtown to prepare for a march. As the mass of people swelled to at least 500 people, speakers from the Tucson Anti War Committee and Arizona Palestinian Solidarity Alliance (APSA) ignited the crowd.

Augsburg students hold die-in to protest the murder of Palestinian children by Israel. | Fight Back! News/staff

Minneapolis, MN – On Wednesday, November 1, the day President Joe Biden visited Minnesota, students at Augsburg University in Minneapolis held a “die-in” to make conspicuous and visible the slaughter of 3500 Palestinian children – as of that day – during the ongoing bombing of Gaza by Israel. This was one of several Wednesday actions by Palestine solidarity activists confronting Biden from the moment he arrived in Minnesota until he left.

Denver protest against the attacks on Gaza. | Fight Back! News/staff

Denver, CO – Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) at Metropolitan State University organized a day of action on November 2, to protest the killing of Palestinians and the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip. This came after the United States government requested more funds to be invested into Israel’s siege of Gaza and supplied weapons valued at over $14 billion in the face of the humanitarian catastrophe.

New Orleans, LA – On October 29, over 300 protesters filled the streets to condemn the recent escalation in the siege on Gaza. The evening began with a rally at City Hall where members of some organizations spoke to the lively crowd. During the march, Palestinian community members led chants like “While you’re shopping, bombs are dropping” and “Biden, Biden, what do you say, how many kids did you kill today?” echoed off storefronts.

St. Paul, MN – On a cold autumn morning on November 2 over 90 pro-Palestine demonstrators gathered in front of the O’Shaughnessy Theater at Saint Catherine University to stand in solidarity with the global Palestinian movement and to express their outrage for Israel’s bombing campaign of Gaza over the last three weeks.

Minneapolis, MN – On the evening of November 1, over 5000 rallied and marched in response to President Biden’s Minnesota visit. The protesters marched from the downtown Minneapolis Federal Building toward the location of an invite-only, closed-door fundraiser for Biden’s re-election campaign. Demonstrators hoped to be within view and earshot of the president in order to communicate their demand for an end to U.S. aid for Israel's ethnic cleansing of Gaza.
