Chicago, IL – A die-in was held inside Chicago City Hall, July 30, to demand Boeing Company be dropped as a sponsor for the summer Air and Water Show next month. 40 protesters dropped to the floor, holding signs with the names of the dead in Gaza from Israel’s three week long war.
Chicago, IL – 350 people gathered across the street from the Zionist “Chicago Stands with Israel’ rally, July 28, to stand in solidarity with Gaza. One of the more popular chants at the counter-protest was “Gaza, Gaza, don't you cry; we stand with you in the Chi!” Despite the police's efforts to physically divide the counter-protest, the Palestinians and their supporters stayed until the Zionists left. Afterwards, they marched through Daley plaza and reaffirmed their commitment to organize and protest until Palestine is free.
Fox Point, WI 350 people gathered for a counterdemonstration against an ‘Israel Solidarity Gathering’ held at Congregation Shalom in the Milwaukee suburb of Fox Point, July 27. Supporters of Palestine gathered across the street from the pro-Israel event for two and a half hours, at one point enduring a thunderstorm.
Salt Lake City, UT – Over 100 people gathered in downtown here, July 25, to protest the Israeli military invasion of Gaza and the oppression of the Palestinian people. This is the second protest in the city since the start of Israel’s ground war on Gaza.

Savannah, GA – Fifteen people attended a vigil for the 800-plus Palestinians killed by Israel's three-week assault on the Gaza strip. The July 24 event marked the beginning of “Solidarity with Palestine,” a series of events, protests, vigils and film screenings, aimed at drawing awareness to Israel's war against Palestine and the subsequent humanitarian crisis. Solidarity with Palestine is a joint partnership between the Revolutionary People's Union and Occupy Savannah.
Grand Rapids, MI – A growing number of Michiganders are protesting the Israeli war on Gaza. A crowd of over 150 demonstrated at the Gerald R. Ford Federal Building in downtown Grand Rapids, July 25. Palestinian and Arab Americans were joined by larger numbers of other anti-war protesters to stand with signs reading “End U.S. aid to Israel,” and “Stop the war on Gaza!” Young people stood at one of the busiest corners in downtown Grand Rapids during rush hour traffic chanting, “Free, free, Palestine.”
St. Paul, MN – More than 200 people gathered at the busy intersection of Snelling and Summit Avenues here, July 25, to protest the continued war on Gaza and the U.S. support for the Israeli assault. This protest was the eighth demonstration to stand with the people of Gaza in the past three week in the Twin Cities.
