Savannah, Georgia vigil in solidarity with Gaza
Savannah, GA – Fifteen people attended a vigil for the 800-plus Palestinians killed by Israel's three-week assault on the Gaza strip. The July 24 event marked the beginning of “Solidarity with Palestine,” a series of events, protests, vigils and film screenings, aimed at drawing awareness to Israel's war against Palestine and the subsequent humanitarian crisis. Solidarity with Palestine is a joint partnership between the Revolutionary People's Union and Occupy Savannah.
