Portland, OR – On Wednesday, November 5, Kamala Harris came to Portland advertising her new book 107 Days, which outlines the events during her failed campaign for president. Portlanders came out to Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in the rain to a protest organized by Portland for Palestine because of Harris’ pro-genocide actions.
Portland, OR – Despite a rainstorm, hundreds of Portlanders mobilized on Saturday, October 25 to the Portland ICE Facility to protest the deployment of the National Guard and increased ICE attacks, and to demand the city revoke the land use permit for the ICE Facility. One protester was arrested during the event.
In less than a month the city can begin the process of revoking the permit for the ICE facility.
Portland, OR – On Friday, September 2, Portlanders rallied calling for the arrest of the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu. The protest took place at the intersection in front of Powell’s Bookstore on 1005 W Burnside Street, one of the busiest intersections in the city. This demonstration was organized by Portland for Palestine (P4P) responding to a call to action by the Anti War Action Network (AWAN).
