Minneapolis, MN – On October 18, the five-starred flag of the People’s Republic of China fluttered in the wind, as a group of patriotic Chinese international students marched in opposition to a reactionary demonstration billed as the “Liberty for Hong Kong March.”

Washington DC – 26 years after the People’s Republic of China turned back an attempt to overthrow socialism, the U.S. State Department issued a statement, June 3, complaining about the “Chinese government’s violent suppression of peaceful protests in and around Tiananmen Square on June 4, 1989.”
According to the New China News Agency (Xinhua), Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Dec. 26 that the Communist Party of China (CPC) will hold high the banner of Mao Zedong Thought “forever” in pursuing the Chinese nation's rejuvenation.
According to a June 26 report from the New China News Agency (Xinhua), Xi Jinping, the general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC), told members of the party leadership to, “learn from the past, stressing that the socialist path with Chinese characteristics must be unswervingly followed and the Party must serve the people heart and soul.”

U.S. to back Japan in conflict
San José, CA – In the past few days, the Japanese government has accused China provoking Japanese navy ships near the Chinese Diaoyu Islands, which lie about 120 miles northeast of Taiwan. The new nationalist Japanese government is continuing to increase military tensions with China by sending naval forces and military aircraft to the islands, which are occupied by Japan, which calls them the Senkaku Islands. In addition, the U.S. still recognizes the Japanese occupation and says that it will back Japan militarily under the U.S.-Japan Security Treaty.
Beijing, China – The New China News Agency (Xinhua) reported Jan. 14 that China’s Foreign Ministry voiced its “strong dissatisfaction and firm opposition” to the United States' decision to impose sanctions on a Chinese company, the Zhuhai Zhenrong Corporation.
