Seattle Against War disrupts Rep. Adam Smith’s campaign event, demands end to U.S. support for war and genocide

Des Moines, WA – On October 28, eight members of Seattle Against War (SAW) disrupted Adam Smith's Taste of the ninth campaign event to call out what they see as the gap between his words and actions. The group confronted Smith over his support for U.S. military aid to Israel and the war in Iran.
“Adam Smith, you should be ashamed of yourself! You’ve spent your entire career avoiding your constituents who are sick and tired of your war profiteering,” yelled Jordan Phillips, who bravely stood up and started the disruption while Smith was speaking.
