North Korea military warns Trump: ‘War is by no means a game’
Washington, DC — Speaking at his New Jersey golf course, August 8, President Trump threatened the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), stating, “They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen.”
On August 9, a spokesperson for the General Staff of the Korean People's Army (KPA) responded to the Trump administrations threats and war preparations, stating, “Should the U.S. finally opt for a reckless military adventure, defying the stern warning of our revolutionary armed forces, the tragic end of the American empire will be hastened.”
According the statement, the U.S. plans to bring huge naval forces, including its two nuclear aircraft carrier task forces and a nuclear sub to the waters off the Korean peninsula, and that strategic assets including B-52, B-1B, B-2A and F-22 aircraft formations to south Korea are in the pipeline. Additional military preparations are underway at California’s Edwards Air Force Base.
