Dallas, TX – Thousands of protesters took to the streets of Dallas, June 30, to protest attacks on immigrants, particularly the detention of children and their separation from their parents.

Los Angeles, CA – The LA Civic Center area was the scene of mass protest against Trumps attacks on immigrants, including jailing and separating families. Thousands of people marched to voice their opposition to the Trump policy of increase arrests and deportations of families from Central America and Mexico.

Miami, FL – About 500 activists rallied and marched in downtown Miami to demand an end to the deportation, detention and separation of immigrant families. Protesters marched from Miami Dade College to Freedom Tower, demanding an end to Trump's cruel and racist immigration policies. Activists chanted, listened to poignant speeches, and held signs that read, “No one is illegal on stolen land” and “Keep families together.”

Salt Lake City, UT – About 4000 people rallied here, June 30, to stop child detentions and for legalization for all. The protest was one many taking place across the U.S. in response to Trump administration’s attacks on immigrants.

Chicago, IL – About 50,000 people rallied and marched in Chicago’s Loop, June 30, to protest the Trump administration for separating kids from parents at the U.S.-Mexico border. The cruelty of this practice brought together over 100 organizations under the slogan Families Belong Together.

Before the city council meeting, they gathered outside of City Hall to demand immediate action to implement a Municipal ID for Minneapolis residents – one of 13 points in their Minneapolis Sanctuary Platform unveiled on Sept. 20, 2017.

Over 200 protesters jammed the Kent County Board of Commissioners meeting and shut it down on June 28. The room was packed with polite but determined people, overflowing into the hallway. The protesters held homemade signs, “ICE out of Kent County” and “Stop separating families!”

Jacksonville, FL – On June 15, over 60 community members in Baker County, Florida held a vigil for Corey Lauramore, an 18-year-old killed on April 15. Corey, his two brothers and friends were lured to a mobile home on County Road 125 where upon arriving, they were met with gunfire. Corey Lauramore was shot in the face and later died due to his injuries. Previously, Corey and his family had been threatened by the same individuals on social media and other outlets while Baker County police refused to do anything about it.
