Second night of protests against Muslim ban at Chicago O'Hare airport
Chicago, IL – For the second night in a row, protesters converged at Chicago O'Hare International Airport, Jan. 29, to say no to President Trump’s Muslim ban. The protest was called by the Arab American Action Network.
Last night, Jan. 28, over 3000 people, including Chicago city council members, Illinois state senators, Cook County commissioners, and federally appointed officials, filled the streets in front of O'Hare's international terminal, as well as the inside of the terminal itself, calling for the release of Arabs, Africans, and/or Muslims from the seven countries who were being detained at the airport in response to Donald Trump's executive order.
