Minneapolis, MN – More than 40 activists in the people’s struggle came together here, Feb. 12, for a Fight Back! fundraising event that netted over $1400. Local trade union, immigrant rights, anti-police crimes, student and anti-war leaders gave toasts praising the newspaper.

Mick Kelly, a Fight Back! editor told the crowd, “The role of our newspaper, the revolutionary press, is to expose and oppose our enemies and help build a fight that will ultimate destroy capitalism – the system of exploitation and oppression that we live under.”

Kelly also stated that Fight Back! will continue to publish daily on the web and that the print edition will come out more often.
