Chicago, IL – A Chicago protest to demand an end to U.S war moves against Venezuela is set for Tuesday, February 5, 5:30 p.m., at the Federal Plaza, (219 S. Dearborn Street.)

“The people of Venezuela are in urgent need of solidarity. Join us to stand against the blatant attempt by Trump to overthrow the democratically elected government of Nicolás Maduro in Venezuela,” say protest organizers.

The demonstration is being organized by Freedom Road Socialist Organization, and is endorsed by: U.S. Palestinian Community Network, Chicago ALBA Solidarity Committee, Black Lives Matter – Chicago, Party for Socialism and Liberation, La Voz de los de Abajo, ILPS – International League of Peoples Struggles, Anakbayan Chicago, Chicago Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression, Communist Workers League – Chicago, CCHRP – Chicago Committee for Human Rights in the Philippines and the Chicago Anti-War Coalition.
