Minneapolis, MN – The Twin Cities Coalition for Justice for Jamar (TCC4J) and other endorsing community organizations will gather at Minneapolis Police Department’s Fourth Precinct, 1925 Plymouth Avenue N, Minneapolis, July 1, at 2 p.m., to demand justice for Thurman Blevins.

Loretta VanPelt, a TCC4J organizer states, “The police literally kill us! They drug us, racially profile, cause us to lose housing, terrorize our communities and kill our people. We will continue to fight for justice for Thurman Blevins and all those lost to police crimes. We want our demands met and this includes community control of the Minneapolis Police Department.”

The protest is endorsed by Black Lives Matter – Minnesota, Black Lives Matter – Twin Cities Metro, Communities United Against Police Brutality, Cop Watch Minneapolis, Justice for Cordale Handy, Justice for Marcus Golden, Native Lives Matter, Twin Cities Coalition for Justice for Jamar and more.
