Cuban union leader speaks on changing U.S.-Cuba relations
Durban, South Africa – During the 17th Congress of the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) on Oct. 7, Fight Back! spoke with Ulises Guilarte de Nacimiento, the General Secretary of the Cuban Workers Central (CTC), the umbrella union federation of workers in socialist Cuba which represents more than 3.5 million workers. At the WFTU Congress, Guilarte was also elected as one of the vice president of the WFTU’s Presidential Council.
Fight Back! spoke with Ulises Guilarte de Nacimiento about the changes in U.S.-Cuba relations.
