Milwaukee says ‘End repression against anti-war and international solidarity activists’
Milwaukee, WI – Two dozen people protested outside the Federal Building here, joining the Jan. 25 National Day of Action called by the Committee to Stop FBI Repression. The protests coincide with the day that Chicago U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald called nine Palestine solitary activists to a grand jury that is aimed at anti-war and international solidarity organizers.
Representatives of Students for a Democratic Society, Peace Action Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Graduate Assistants Association – AFT Local 2169 spoke at the event, highlighting the need to continue building a city-wide defense to support the 23 who have recently been targeted by the FBI.
