We, the undersigned parties present at the 22nd International Communist Seminar

1) reaffirm that the subversive policies and activities of imperialism in order to impose its hegemony in the Middle East are the main reason behind all conflicts, tensions and wars in the region. US and EU imperialism and the NATO, along with Israel and the pro-imperialist reactionary regimes of the region (such as Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia) share a common responsibility for the crimes against the peoples of the region.

2) condemn the instrumentalization by imperialism and its allies in the region of inter-religious divergences and conflicts. Imperialism intervenes brutally in the internal affairs of states, supporting domestic reactionary forces, and does not hesitate to intervene directly, supporting provocative fundamentalist and terrorist organisations under the pretext of “humanitarian interventions”.

We, the undersigned parties present at the 22nd International Communist Seminar, are expressing our solidarity with the Cuban people and especially with the five Cubans who were involved in the anti-terrorist struggle. Stop NATO, abolish NATO

Stop NATO, abolish NATO

On the occasion of the NATO summit of Chicago, we declare our principled opposition to this imperialist alliance, whose continued existence is a threat to world peace and to the rights and the well-being of the workers and the peoples of the world.

Over the past years, the US and NATO have waged wars of aggression against Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya. Today, they are threatening and planning more militarization, interventions, aggressions and outright wars on all continents, in a context of ever-deepening crisis of the world capitalist system, in an effort to further advance and impose the dominance of monopoly capital.

We, Communist and Workers’ Parties present at International Communist Seminar in Brussels, will continue our opposition and mobilization against any and all imperialist interventions and wars. We express our solidarity with all forces that resist imperialist occupation and aggression and defend the sovereignty and independence of their countries. We will continue our struggle to oppose and abolish NATO. By struggling to bring an end to this imperialist alliance, we are contributing to the cause of world peace.

The FRSO members are under attack due to their support for the struggles of the people of Palestine and Colombia. The FRSO members and friends are accused of “material support for terrorism” because they organize protest against U.S. wars for Empire in the Middle East, against U.S. aid to Israel, and against U.S. military intervention in Colombia. The U.S. Government is claiming the publishing of articles and opinions favorable to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) in the newspaper "Fight Back" constitutes a crime. We reject this criminalization of political speech and organizing. We denounce the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) raids targeting the homes and offices of progressives and revolutionaries. We demand an end to secretive Grand Jury where there is no judge and activists are not even allowed a lawyer. We applaud the 23 solidarity activists’ refusal to appear and speak at the Grand Jury despite the threat of imprisonment.
